Terms of Service

By creating an account, downloading or uploading any skin, or otherwise using our Services, you automatically accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Scope & Acceptance of Terms

1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding contract between you and Divine Skins LLC, a Bulgarian company ("Divine Skins," "we," "us," or "our").

1.2 They govern your use of divineskins.gg, the Divine Skins desktop launcher, Discord integrations and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

1.3 Click-wrap required. You must affirmatively accept these Terms (e.g., by clicking "I agree") during sign-up, purchase or upload. Continued use of the Services also signifies acceptance.

2. About the Service

Divine Skins operates (i) the DivineSkins.gg website and its sub-domains, (ii) the optional desktop launcher Celestial, and (iii) official Discord community channels (together, the "Service"). The Service enables eligible League of Legends players to discover, download, manage and apply fan-made, cosmetic-only skin mods ("Divine Skins").

These skins do not alter gameplay. Basic access is free, while optional paid subscriptions unlock ad-free Browse, additional cosmetic effects and other perks.

When you upload a skin or other content ("User Content"), you retain full ownership. Divine Skins does not claim any title or interest in your User Content. However, you grant us the limited licence set out in Section 8 to host and distribute it via the Service.

3. Eligibility (13+) & Account Security

• Minimum age 13. If you are below the digital-consent age in your country (16 in most EU states, 13 in the US), you must provide verifiable parental consent.
• Keep login credentials confidential; you are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Proof of parental consent is stored only as long as legally required and then securely deleted.

4. Riot Games IP Notice & Non-Affiliation

All League of Legends trademarks and assets belong to Riot Games.

5. Fan-Content Policy & Non-Commercial Use

• All standard skins on the Service are free to download.
• Our monetisation channels are: banner & video advertisements; voluntary donations; paid subscriptions; and direct sales of premium-feature skins.
• You may not sell, rent or license skins outside our platform without written consent.

6. Cosmetic-Only Rule & Anti-Cheat Compliance

• Custom skins are purely client-side – hitboxes, particle size, timing and gameplay logic are enforced server-side and cannot be altered by custom skins.
• Any custom-skin tweak that could grant an in-game advantage is strictly prohibited.
• Custom skins and any third-party software you choose to run operate in a grey zone under Riot's Terms of Use; you use them entirely at your own risk.

7. Regional Restrictions

Custom-skin downloads are disabled for China, South Korea, and any other territories where Riot or its local publishing partner expressly bans mods. Do not use VPNs or proxies to bypass regional blocks.

8. User Conduct, Prohibited Content & Uploads

You must not upload or share content that:

• rips or redistributes official Riot assets;
• contains malware, spyware or other malicious code;
• alters gameplay mechanics or gives any in-game advantage;
• infringes third-party intellectual-property or publicity rights; or
• depicts hate speech or other illegal material.

Upload Licence: When you upload User Content, you grant Divine Skins a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, distribute, adapt, transform, create derivative works of, publicly display and perform that content in connection with the Services.

9. Content Creator Licence & Attribution

When you feature Divine Skins content you must:

• Provide clear attribution in video descriptions, stream overlays or post captions.
• Include a direct, working link to the relevant Divine Skins product page.
• Follow any additional, documented usage terms we publish for creators.

10. Security & Uptime

• We maintain industry-standard technical and organisational security measures (TLS encryption in transit, OAuth/SSO login or token-based authentication, annual pentests). We do not store user passwords.
• We target 99% monthly uptime but provide the Services "as-is" and "as-available."

11. Celestial Launcher Licence & Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one (1) copy of the Celestial launcher per Divine Skins account, solely to download, manage, and apply cosmetic-only Divine Skins files in accordance with these Terms.

You must not decompile, decrypt, reverse-engineer, packet-sniff, scrape, extract, or otherwise attempt to obtain, copy, or redistribute any code or skin files shipped with or downloaded through Celestial.

12. Pricing, VAT & Taxes

• All prices shown to EU consumers include applicable VAT.
• VAT is remitted via the EU OSS scheme; you are responsible for any additional local taxes not collected by us.

13. Withdrawal, Subscription Cancellation & Chargebacks

• Statutory 14-day EU withdrawal right: If you are an EU consumer and have not waived the 14-day withdrawal period by starting the download immediately, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.
• Subscriptions: Cancel any time in Account → Billing. Perks remain until the end of the paid period; no partial refunds are given for unused days.
• Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback will result in the immediate termination of your account and the revocation of all licences.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

IN NO EVENT WILL DIVINE SKINS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Divine Skins LLC, its affiliates and service providers from and against any third-party claims arising out of or relating to your uploads or violations of these Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution & Claim-Filing Limit

You may bring unresolved disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform or to your local consumer/small-claims court. Any claim must be filed within one (1) year of the event unless a longer period is mandatory under law.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including Riot changes, governmental takedown orders, CDN outages, war, pandemic, or natural disasters.

18. Accessibility Statement

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Contact support@divineskins.gg for accommodation requests.

19. Community Guidelines & Enforcement

Harassment, hate speech or other toxic behaviour may result in warnings, content removal or account suspension. Serious or repeated offences can lead to permanent bans. Accounts accumulating three (3) valid DMCA notices within any twelve months will be permanently suspended.

20. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or on substantiated notice from Riot Games. Upon termination, you must delete all custom skins obtained through the Service.

21. Changes to Terms & Notice Mechanism

We may amend these Terms by posting an updated version and notifying you via email or in-app alert for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

22. Governing Law

Bulgarian law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory EU consumer protections.

24. Boilerplate

• Entire agreement – these Terms constitute the whole agreement between us.
• No partnership – Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship.
• Severability – if any provision is unlawful, the remainder survives.
• Assignment – we may assign these Terms; you may not without consent.
• Waiver – no waiver of any breach is a waiver of later breaches.
